K-12 Education: Professional Learning

Through an ongoing series of workshops, seminars and community meetings, Merit Members can learn and share knowledge about networking, network- related technologies and the policies involved in providing technology services.

The Merit Member Conference, an annual event held during early summer, features presentations and case studies by national speakers, innovators, and Member representatives.

Periodic Merit Joint Technical Staff (MJTS) meetings provide networking professionals from Merit Member organizations with opportunities to learn new techniques, share their ideas, and network with their peers.

The Michigan Information Technology Executive (MITE) Forum is a community of practice for IT executives, where members can get help with problems, share experiences and best practices, develop professionally, and gain inspiration and support from peers.
