Flamingo - Network Performance Visualization Tool

Flamingo is a powerful visualization tool that Internet engineers use to keep track of Internet data flowing in and out of their networks. The tool is unique, in that it enables 3D Internet traffic data exploration in real-time, using advanced visualization methods to illustrate different aspects of the data.

Flamingo users can use its navigation tools to zoom, rotate, or translate traffic flows into easily understood patterns, offers 2D and 3D synchronized displays, and provides slider bar controls for data filtering.

Flamingo's startling visualizations are based on information extracted from the widely used NetFlow tool, an open (but proprietary) Cisco protocol for collecting traffic information on Internet routers. Flamingo also offers a playback capability for archived NetFlow data. For more information, see the Flamingo home page.
