If you have Merit Network's Web Contingency Service, you simply call the Network Operations Center. With a minor routing change, web visitors will be re-directed to a Merit-hosted contingency web presence for your organization. For as long as you need it.

Access to your machines is never a problem. Keycard access to the colocation site is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Hands-on service from an IT professional is also available, and if you need to power-cycle a machine, you can do so remotely from your location.

Two Protection Options

Basic Web Contingency Service

Web server hosted by Merit and connected via fiber to redundant hardened backbone sites.
1 Gigabyte of storage and full access to upload and maintain files.
Access via a simple web interface.

Colocation Web Contingency Service

Ideal option for organizations that prefer a more complete replica of their current site, located in a secure, backup location.
Merit Member colocates a dedicated server.
Total management control over the server, applications and content.

For Members that are directly connected to Merit's backbone network, a MeritDiverse Connection provides an organization with a redundant, back-up route and network routing.
